About Me.
After more than twenty years in public service, I’ve gained a deep understanding of what truly strengthens a community: unity, trust, honesty, integrity, and ensuring every voice is heard.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving residents from every walk of life and every corner of the community, listening to their stories, guiding them through challenging moments, and building bridges to the resources, programs, and support systems that strengthen neighborhoods, promote safety, and empower communities to thrive. Over the years, I’ve seen how a lack of adequate services and support systems can contribute to increased crime, homelessness, poverty, and a decline in community pride. Yet I’ve also witnessed the remarkable strength that emerges when residents, businesses, and local leaders work together. When communities unite, they collaborate, innovate, and create real, lasting solutions from within.
Beyond my public service work, I also invested in the communities I served -providing jobs to local residents, coaching youth, volunteering, and leading high-impact initiatives such as school-supply drives, winter-coat distributions, and job fairs. I continue this commitment as an active board member of a nonprofit that provides underserved youth with free access to overnight summer camps.
I learned that genuine outreach isn’t about checking boxes. It’s about showing up, earning trust, and creating spaces where everyone feels included. These experiences shaped not only my career but also my values and the way I approach every project.
Now retired from public service, I step into the private sector as a Community Outreach Consultant. My mission is simple: to help organizations engage with communities authentically and respectfully. I bring with me the lessons of patience, compassion, and a deep commitment to equity.
Whether I’m helping a company understand local needs, guiding a team through meaningful engagement, or building connections from the ground up, I carry forward the belief that guided my entire public service career: When we listen and engage with intention, we create real impact.
